You couldn't be more wrong. This team will lose by at least 20 to Nova and all of the top five talk will go away for the rest of the season. They haven't played well for weeks and it's finally showing up on the scoreboard!!

A top 5-10 team should be able to beat anyone/anywhere.

They won't be in the top 5-10 much longer. In fact they haven't looked like a top ten team since mid December.

Why shoot treys when you're hitting 60%+ in the paint? If they played just average defense, they win by 6 - 8 points. I think he has NBA-itis, and it is backfiring badly. There is a reason they don't run many isolation plays for him. He doesn't have a blow buy move, as he is a subpar dribble for a 2 or 3. He is very ineffective off of the dribble in space, as the only shot he has is a step back jumper. He also does not score well in traffic. Too late in the season to reinvent yourself. He should stick to his only offensive strength, albeit a very good one: Step in threes and jumpers.

He has hurt X a lot in late game situations with forced shots including today. I'd love to have him for another season, and he has helped elevate X to near elite status, but JP is clearly the best offensive option on this team. For the sake of the team, Tre and CM need to realize that.

We have a clear advantage in the post but continue to allow Tre and JP to play like NBA 2K. The road will not be our friend in the big east. I also think we got hosed on a few calls.

Disappointing effort except Kanter, Jones & Goodin. Hopefully the others all show up on Wed or it will be another Philly blow out for Nova. Turnovers a lot of them unforced and poor free throw & 3pt shooting don't give you much of a chance against a good team-better get it corrected before Wed. Mack still must see something there but Scruggs really hurt us especially in the first half. Was Harden highly recruited seems like he is the forgotten man?

Colorado beat the no. 3 ranked team (ASU) and no 14th ranked team (AZ) this week. This should negate any modest dip in RPI that X may take from the loss today, and make this another quality win on their resume.

Baylor beat Texas, and Butler beating SH by 10 midway into the 2nd half. X's rpi may actually improve today despite the loss. That's the beauty of playing a good non-conference schedule and be in a very good league.

Mack has to play Scruggs when Goodin goes out. Scruggs actually plays better D, but he definitely turns the ball over too often. He has not yet learned how to judge the speed of Big East defenders, and his passes get stolen too often. For every wonderful drive to the basket he makes, he goes out of control on the next one. He has amazing upside, but he won't realize that unless he plays and learns. Mack knows this. You should realize it too.
