Q has been great. Good to hear he makes 3s in practice but he should wait to take an in game 3 until he is forced by the shot clock or X finds themselves up big. If he is making them in practice, he probably just needs to see 1 go in during a game and he will relax a bit on future shots. Until that 1st one goes through the rim, he needs to avoid the shot in tight games unless the shot clock requires it.

3/1 Assist/TO is where good begins if you are going to use such a silly metric. Assists are great but turnovers are absolutely horrible. It takes a minimum of 3 great things to offset 1 horrible action. Of course if you look at the adjusted assist to TO ratio then his numbers are far better.

What the heck is adjusted turnovers? Is that turnovers that are charged to him but not necessarily his fault? Is someone even actually tracking that stuff?

Seriously? If a guy who shoots 25% from 3 starting shooting multiple 3s, I'd take 3 steps backward and encourage him to shoot it all day. His strength offensively is driving to the hole, where his strength and athleticism allows him to finish at a high rate, or pass it to an outside shooter.
