DePaul played a good game vs. the Muskies. However without Max Slus it would have been no contest. (I guess you could argue the same about Macura). If Slus would have gone elsewhere DePaul would still be very sad. The TV announcers stated DePaul has turned a corner. So tell me how a 7-7 team with Max Slus for two years has turned a corner. I don't think they will win five games in the Big East. They have a new arena and a coach that isn't getting it done. Minus Slus (for two years) the corner looks like a straight line to me.

They very likely won't make the NIT as well....... Anyone agree? By the way we'll beat them at DePaul too!

Turned the corner......no way. You turn the corner with wins and solid consistent results.

Depaul is still awful.

X fans, however, should have a soft spot for the Blue Demons. Without them, last year's Elite8 run doesnt happen. When X was struggling (losing 6 in a row at one point) Depaul thankfully showed up on the schedule 3 times which helped launch the team into the tourney.

Without Depaul's consistent ineptitude, X was likely NIT bound.
