Is this his sit out year? Is he eligible to play for X next year?

I think that he will be a 2 yr graduate transfer who will be immediately eligible next year or possibly January 2019? Seems like he is not playing this year? Injury?

Took this year off to concentrate on academics, which is how he will graduate in only 3 years. Leaves him 2 full years of eligibility as a graduate student. No health problems.

One less student for Sr Rose to worry about! I heard several times on TV broadcasts that Sean O’Mara is now a graduate student. So I guess he graduated in 3 years also.

This seems like a very solid pick up. He seems to be a more talented version of Rashid, who was very serviceable. He isn't going to be needed to be an offensive star, but I think he has a decent skill set. He is also reportedly a very good rebounder, which will help with the perimeter-oriented team X will largely have next year.

Most importantly, he should be able to step in and contribute right away. It also helps balance the classes better as well. X is one more grad transfer shooter away from being a top 25 team next year.

Considering how bad Dartmouth was, I suspect he was their version of David West and drew a lot of attention by opposing defenders. I suspect he'll be far more than serviceable. His line is certainly better than Stainbrook's was coming in, who obviously turned out to be a very good player.

Hopefully, his mother ponies up some money for X, like she did at Dartmouth.
