In this day in college basketball any team that's not hitting their threes has a problem. I think this team is learning the inside game and has progressed as the season has gone on. We also have CJ, Brown, Duncan, Drew and Stan that can take the ball to the hoop and have done it at times this year. Again if the D is working X can be tough to beat.

I agree with your comment on the need to be a dependable 3 point shooting team. When Duncan comes into the game, I'd really rather have him just shoot 3's. I know he's progressed some lately under the basket but that spark from nailing a three can be huge. He just seems more comfortable from the outside, and it causes the opposing team to change their defensive strategy.

Do we think Jackson and Graves can carry us from 3 point range next year? I know we have Redford but you never know until the new guys go up against real college competition how they'll perform. I hope he's the sharpshooter in college that he is in high school.

Xu needs to play solid defense and this helps create their offense. Drew & CJ need to go to the basket as this opens it up for Love and the 3 point shooters. If the 3 does not drop they have to have another way to score & that is where driving to the basket is so important. They have enough weapons, it is just a question of getting them working or knowing when they are not which other weapons to use. This is an awlful fun team to watch play when they are going well.
