Easiest prediction: Mick will go ape sh#t about the seeding, especially since UCLA will throttle them if they get thru game one, which I'm not confident about. The committee showed complete disrespect for their body of work. Iowa State was their only marquee win, and they play in a bad conference. They should have scheduled 3-4 more top 50 ooc teams.

LOVE X's path. I think Maryland is very beatable. I'd rather play them than Wake or KSU. Gods were smiling down on X. I also would rather play FSU, than some of the 4's & 5's (ND, WVU etc....), assuming X beats Maryland. Basketball Gods were smiling down on X.

MI 3 best wins were against MI, Minn, & NW. They're all good, solid tourney teams, but I would not be surprised to see X favored in this game. They shoot 3's well, and their two best players are guards.

Also, if X beats MD, they'll play FSU In round 2. The other 3's were: UCLA, Oregon, Baylor. No question FSU is the easiest of all 3's. Odds are against it, but the SW 16 is not out of the question.

They beat Duke, Louisville , and ND all at home early on in conference play, and also lost to 3 non-tourney teams away: GTech, Syracuse, & Pitt, by an average of 15 points, in the latter part of conference play. They certainly can be upset by FGSU. None of the other 3s showed that same inconsistency.
