Mack's strategy won this game for Xavier. He had less talent than Butler and totally out coached the Butler bench the final 8 minutes of the game. Give Mack some credit and stop your bashing of this coaching staff!
Put down your 5th can of whatever energy drink you're consuming, take 4 valium, and relax.
You do not agree Mack won the battle of the coaches? C'mon, if Butler had won you would be killing Mack.

Hops,

I wish you stopped bashing our poor coaching staff for Lent. Listen to the guy who said 4,324 times in the last week that X was going to be in the NITs.

Sky wanted me to ask you if you are still dogging Tre?
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I guess you missed my comments about Holtman, BE COY's decision to put Chrab on Tre? CM definitely outcoached him - today. I hope he continues it for 2 more games this tourney.

Tre was an absolute stud in the 2nd half. Doesn't change the facts of my previous statement. After he leaves, he'll go down as one of my all-time favorite players, along with the much-maligned Dante Jackson, James Posey, and Justin Cage. I'm also developing a serious man crush on Malcolm Bernard. Some poster, don't remember who (not important), said he really wasn't a BE caliber player. I think he has been proven wrong.

Tough call.
X split the series against both.
PC on a 6 game win streak.
Cooley is 5-2 in NBE Tournament play.
He always seems to get his guys to peak for this tournament.
But Patton is scary good although Basketball Jones owed him in their last game.
Either is better than Nova.

I think both would be tough to beat, but Providence has only one true post player, a freshman who probably plays less than 15 min a game. The way SOM, Gaston, and Jones are playing, I'll take my chances with him vs Patton.

Edit: They also have Holt, but he has more girth than height. I don't see him affecting SOM's shot, and he is playing with a lot of confidence. Well deserved success.

so as usual a front runner. You must be Billy Cunningham. who is with you win or win!
