Creighton Game thread 01/16/2017

[commish118]

X has 12 first half turnovers. Creighton has 13 points off those TOs. Then we start off 2nd half with 2 more turnovers.

Good news - Creighton picking up a bunch of fouls.
Bad news - Means X has to shoot FT's. 3 for 9 so far from the line. Yikes.

[mumuskie87]

Thank the Lord for Tre today. This team could not throw it into the ocean from the pier.... Maybe Mack will demote KG to the 2nd best shooter on the team after today.

Tre is making those 15-18 footers just about the FT line.
X needs to figure out to get him more shots in that range.

Love to see a complete ten minutes to close the game.

[mumuskie87]

Damn..I've seen this movie before.
T on Mack and the lead goes to 9.
8 minutes left. Not looking good.
Gaston misses 2 FT's - of course.
And Tre picks up his 3rd foul.

[XavierTragedy]

T in Mack a waste. Find another way to coach them up. Gaston to the line. Great!

[mumuskie87]

Patton picks up his 4th foul but it won't matter if X can't make their FT's.
C'mon guys.

[XavierTragedy]

9 of 19 from the line. Pathetic. Get Gaston out of the game. Omara or Jones please.

[mumuskie87]

X's offense consists of guys taking turns going 1 on 1.

Gaston couldn't hit water if he fell out of the boat from the line but he is one bad mother of an offensive rebounder.
