LaSalle almost beat Nova, and the Irish are giving them all they can handle right now. Baylor is playing the best basketball so far, early in this season. But we were last year. It's more important how you play in February and March, than it in in November and December. Denny Crum always proved that.

And the end result shows why Nova is #1.

Nova showed how you must play 40 minutes...especially against Nova. They looked like they might lose it but Hart put them on his back and then others did not let up.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Big East is 2/1 with DePaul loss. GT v LaSalle, Q v Wisc, Butler v UC, and we.

I think the Nova team would be a good one to watch when you want to learn how to finish around the rim. They never do anything as a walk up the floor as they put so much pressure on the D. Their D looked like a 8 on four at times and you don't always see a jump shot from beyond the three blocked and transition basket

As usual, we agree. They play great as a team, and play to their strengths. I love the multiple varying defenses Wright employs every game. I'm not even sure Vill has a can't miss NBA prospect. Brunson may be their best hope. Hart is a great college player, but lacks the quicks to bully guards like he does in college. He's a very good scorer in college, but a streaky shooter. Jenkins will have to play the 3, where he too would be a below avg. NBA athlete.
Nevertheless, they represent BE great as the flagship. I think X can compete for that this year. Turnaround starts today.

Once again AH you are spot on. I think Hart will be a great NBA though. He is a poor mans Bernard King. X could take some lessons about closing games from Wright.
