X has lost 2 games on the road to teams in the Power 5 conferences. And both BU and CU were in the tournament last year.
X let this one get away.
Need to regroup, get back to the friendly confines of Cintas and get a W against the Utes on Saturday.
Nice games for Tre and 'Shid but JP and Ed need to make shots along w/ Kaiser Gates. There were posts earlier this year about Kaiser possibly being a pick for All-BE team. He is not even remotely close to being on an All-BE team...1 for 10 in his 2 games from 3.

I would say right now UC beats X on their home court which is where the game is played this year.
My point is that X lost to a very good Big 12 team in Baylor on the road and to a decent, not great Pac 12 team on the road.
But they should have won the game tonight, IMO.
They lose to the Utes at home on Saturday, then the sky is officially falling.

Not sure what the actual stats are but would not be surprised if X has been out-scored in the 2H this year.

Two tough road games. This one we should have one, evem with our poor play from everyone not names Tre or Rashid. We are going to be fine. Myles will really help us. Im hoping this is a coming out party for Rashid. But, Gooden, Jones, Macura, Omara, and Gates have been horrible the last two games. Btw, im afraid everytime a big goes to the free throw line right now. Also, I believe we will be seeing Sumner back for his junior year. Okay...With that said, no real reason to panic, we will be a top four seed at the end of the year, bank on it, even though you cant tell now. Myles will help immensley.

Agree with Muskieman on the fact that we had an inside advantage with Gaston yet we refused to get him the ball and continue to bail out CO with bad 3's (macura and Gates). This is one Mack however. He took his foot off the pedal up 8 by putting in Gates and Jones together which lost the lead quicker than we got it. His lineup for eight mins were the dagger. Not sure what happened to Gates but he he easily gave up 4 to 5 threes and none. When did he turn into a 3 guard? We are not a good shooting team yet we continue to take 3's, miss FT',s and play horrible perimeter D. Get used to opponents playing a zone because we will see it all year. JP was terrible on offense. Utah will beat us with that effort

We play poor second halves lately. In part tonight that could be the altitude. Boulder is over 5300 ft. My grandson is a kicker for New Mexico football and he says the altitude is definitely a factor. For him it also gives him five yards additional on his kicks.
