UNI Game thread 11/26/2016

[Shadow]

Will Xavier beat UNI twice in a week? Stay tuned for the thrilling outcome.
Go X!

[mumuskie87]

Ken Pom projects an X win - 74-64.
I'll take that.
X did a good job of holding down Carlson last game - 9 points.
Need to do the same again today.

[mumuskie87]

Good start - 8-2 at the 1st TV timeout.
2-2 from 3. Nice to Ed knock down a 3.
Nice post move by Sean plus he picks up a charge.
Good start for him.

[mumuskie87]

JP is just f'in relentless on the court.
I love it!!!

[mumuskie87]

Another 3 for Ed.
And a nice o-board and put back by Tyrique.

[mumuskie87]

A nice move to the hoop by Q.
X up 20-5 at the 10:13 mark.
4-8 from 3 while UNI is only 1-5 from 3.

[mumuskie87]

Gates is in

[mumuskie87]

3 fouls on Carlson with over 7 to play in the half. That helps.
Nice out of bounds play to Big Sean.

[mumuskie87]

3 straight possessions without a shot - TO by Gaston, TO by Ed and a charge by Tre.
Gaston is hesitant in the post. Really does not have strong post moves with the basketball.

[mumuskie87]

35-12 at the half.
UNI goes 1 for 9 from 3 and 3 for 10 from 2,
X is dominating the boards - 21 to 10.
And X has more o-boards than UNI has defensive boards - 8 to 7.
X's 3 headed monster at 5 - Jones, O'Mara and Gaston - play a total of 20 minutes and combine for 8 pts and 7 boards.
