what is with Gerogetown

Postby muskieman » Thu Nov 17, 2016 7:12 pm

all that talent and Georgetown blew one the other night against Maryland. Hoyas now down 36-15 to Arkansas State at home. Yes, Arkansas State.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

They were still shell-shocked from Tuesday night's last minute collapse against Maryland.

Has JRT III run his course?

Gtown gets a W against a top 20 team - Oregon - tonight.

A strange team for sure.

JTIII can recruit, he simply is void of coaching ability. His teams are some of the most fundamentally unsound teams I have ever seen. Its that simple IMHO

GT has the talent but as usual they don't seem to have it together. Some years they never get it together on any consistent basis but if they get it together this year then part of that will be John Thomson getting it together.

I'm not sold on their "superior talent." Their ceiling is top 25 imo. Regardless, the only person who has more underserved rope than JT III is Marvin Lewis.

Wisconsin 73
Georgetown 57

The Badgers pound the Hoyas on the Boards 50-21. The differential on the Offensive Boards was 20-1 ... Yes, 20-1, and the only O Board was a team rebound, not credited to any Hoya.

Their big guy in the middle is a real stiff. Extremely slow. The Wisconsin players went around him at will. I was not impressed by him or the rest of the team.
