Ah SD points scored is not the only factor Rick was talking about, Rick said other teams could not guard (stop) our three starters of ed, Tre and JP, I believe. Sure Nova has scorers but look at all stats and minutes played Sumner for instance had 112 assist versus 100 for Brunson and Ed played 9 more games... rebounds Brunson had 70 and Ed had 106 again in 9 less games. as far as Free throws go Ed made 112 vs Brunson 82 and Ed go to the line more in 9 less games. Overall Ed is much better overall playerSC in DC wrote:MMan---Uhh, Rick, we have a team in the conference named Nova! They might argue about not having scorers to match ours! TB=15.1 vs Josh Hart=15.5; EdS=11.0 vs Brunson=9.6; JP=9.4 vs a guy names Jenkins=13.6. Not to mention a transfer Paschall who will probably outscore Bernard. And Bridges and Reynolds will probably grow some as will KG for X. Myles is a wild card for us, but I assume he will be back for league play which will help, But not sure Nova fans think they will be outgunned!
TB played 6 less gms than Josh Hart and there stats are very close overall
Now we get to Jenkins and here we don't have a great comparison because Jenkins played the third highest minute behind Hart and Arcidiacono started 38 of Novas 40 games and had 1134 minutes compared to JP's 773 minutes which is almost 6 more minutes per game average and the 5th highest minutes on our team because JP was a sixth man and only started 4 games out of the 34 played. Assists 2.175 aver per game for Jenkins 2.2 for JP but JP played 361 less minutes. JP had less rebounds as an average per game with Jenkins having 67 more rebounds in 361 more minutes so based on rebounds per minutes played JP was more productive same with assists.
Hey I am not going to argue which player is better but based on their three guys versus our three guys I'd take out three guys with the players now surrounding them surrounding them
