Dana's is a very bad place.
Why do you say that?
Fifty years ago I was sucker punched, more than once, at Dana's.

Think maybe I was at Danas once, or was that a dream? Anyway, all this back and forth frufruing makes me want to go there and test out my ID.

PD--bad---nah, Xciting yes! 50 years ago (+1 or 2) some of the Norwood locals decided to show up and mess up the pretty college boys. My only barroom brawl in my life and it was a doozy! I escaped literally unscathed (I hid in plain sight!) but some of my X brothers not so much. Dan pulled a gun from behind the bar (concealed carry permit?) and broke it up before major mayhem (i.e. me getting hurt). Never stopped me from going back again and again!

Myles tweet 9/12

"Just want to thank Xavier and everyone who's been I my life and regardless of w/e going on I can say I'm a college graduate! Thank you God!"

Not good? or indicative of nothing?

The tweet sounds pretty ominous to me. Myles always seemed like a good kid that was well liked by his teammates. It also appeared that he had strong support system in place. There may be anger management issues that we are unaware of, but Xavier has dealt well and supported those whom have had anger management issues, i.e. Larry Sykes, Lenny Brown. I would consider Mark Lyons a moderate success as he stayed at X for four years and graduated after being at something like 5 high schools in four years. I am surprised because usually anger manifest itself during competition and we didn't really see that from Myles.

Its disappointing that no one within Myles support system was able to get to him in time. I find it highly unlikely that Myles just woke up one day and decided to start vandalizing things, this is something that had to be building for a period of time. Just wish someone would have something like "Hey Myles you're 23 and a star a Xavier, there will be other fish in the sea and the world is your oyster right now!" LOL

A silver lining could be that this could help Trevon Bluiett further develop his skills as a secondary ball handler and help him be more comfortable in putting the ball on the floor which is something he will need in order to do well at the next level! Go X

It's unclear to me why you speak of him in the past tense.

It seems obvious that he wants to remain in the program. At the same time it seems obvious that he's depressed--or at least pessimistic--about the situation.

In any case, I believe that, if the decision had been made (by him or by Xavier) that he's finished, Xavier/Coach Mack would have announced it.

As a graduate of Xavier, does he now have the opportunity to enroll somewhere else--near home--and play right away? If he sits out this entire year, can he play anywhere next year?

My guess would be he will be playing somewhere, second semester.

I thought i saw that MD was warned to stay away from that woman by the staff last year. I guess he didn't listen.

Looking like myles davis is no longer at Xavier University. If he's going to play basketball again, it will be as a college graduate.
