Tomorrow Bob will have surgery on his liver. They will cut away most or all of the right lobe of his liver. There are three tumors present and after the surgery he will endure six months of chemo. He would have asked but you know BOB and he felt he has asked too much from the members of MM. The good news is they have not found cancer in any other part of his body, GOD be praised.
So let's storm the heavens for Bob.

News from Xavier BOB
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Bob...
If you are reading this, please know that our prayers and thoughts are with you. You have carried the Xavier torch well and displayed it proudly for many years. We all have a debt of gratitude to you and others of the same ilk that we Xavier supporters and boosters before it was "cool". I will be praying that you remain an important part of the Xavier family for many more years and that we reach the promised land with you still in the fold. May God bless you and protect you during your surgery and forever more.

Just got back from visiting Bob along with Dr. Hoops
The operation seems to have been successful. He will be in the hospital for 5-7 days. He is in good spirits but under a LOT of pain meds.
He might have been more concerned about Scruggs committing than his own problems.

Re: News from Xavier BOB
I went to see XavierBob today at University Hospital. They had taken him to SICU after a complication occurred last night. He was complaining about his shoulder last night and his BP and pulse were not good. They suspected a possible bleed and after getting him up his BP dropped and his pulse spiked so they took him to surgery where they found a bleed behind his liver. They repair the bleed and he just got out of surgery when I got there. The information was from his daughter. He was intubated and still not awake so I was unable to see him. He was supposed to be in the hospital 5-7 days, today would have been 5, but it looks like he is back to 5-7 more days. Keep him in your prayers
