Not all that surprised. This kid's sudden arrival at X seemed unusual all the way around from day one. Wish him well but wow, this has been a summer of uncertainty. My question to those of you "in the know" please tell me Tyrique Jones is on campus, healthy and meets all NCAA requirements..????

Jones has not met requirements yet. He is pretty raw, so could be red shirted.

Disappointed, but not surprised either. Being here, in another country, going to school and playing ball, is an adjustment.

Does anyone know anything about Andrew Gordon, PF out of CT? We still have an offer out there for him, and now we have an open spot. It is awful late though. With O'Mara Gaston and Gates, I think we are fine, but it would be nice to have a 4th big. If Jones is eligible and ready, that is great.

Wonder if this has anything to do with him pleading guilty to a hit and run in May of this year. Was he on campus last semester or this summer?
