So who gets left out if ND stays put for one year? I'd say don't let them in it for only one year.

I am happy the new league starts next year and that Butler and X will both be in it. The A10 has been good for X. Getting into the Dance will be a lot tougher now. The recruiting is going to have to be a lot better....and those recruited need to pan out(and lol be able to score, not just shoot).

I actually think playing in a better conference will make it easier to get an at large bid. Look at how many bids have have come out of the "Old" Big East in the past. The recruiting should be better because of the exposure with the new conference as well.

The UC situation is somewhat ironic. They made such a big deal of joining the Big East and now they won't per se be in that league.

I look for our non conference schedule to soften in very short order

I hope we dont become the pu$%ies that UC are.

I hope we have some balance. Schedule some patsies, schedule some middle of the road MAC schools and continue to schedule Gonzaga/Memphis/ Wake etc.

I highly doubt we're going to go from very tough to super soft. Just this week Mack mentioned that X is talking to Memphis about doing another home-and-home and that they are trying to schedule a home-and-home with a Pac-12 school.

I think X will keep a relationship with St. Joe's and possibly Temple OOC.
