Saturday, 2pm, Cintas Center, #9 Musketeers have a payback game vs. #14 Arizona State. $8 lower arena. Men's season ticket holders have voucher tickets for this game. If in town, try to support.

I will be there with a couple of friends. And in the time before the men's game, we will be at Gordo's...a fine Norwood burger joint featuring burgers nearly as tasty as Terry's Turf Club along with an excellent selection of draft and bottled beer, all at very reasonable prices. And sports will be on the telly.

Gordo's has been getting a lot of buzz lately. I'm one of the Zips enthusiasts (yes, I have tried almost all of the others), but I'll have to give it a shot.
See you fellas at the women's game.

Sorry if the "ad" offended you. I'm just excited to find a place near the Cintas, besides Dana's which I also like, to replace Ryan's. We used to always start the games at Ryan's until the "new and improved" arrangement they instituted this year...no $1 PBR's, no table service for food or beverages, no free popcorn, and a significant downgrade in food quality. I suspect that one of the XU "powers in charge" would love to shut Ryan's down. The changes they have put in place put that goal in reach.

For years they streamed the women's games on the GoXavier website. Do they still? I looked but maybe I missed it ... I really don't much like the website design any more ... way too cluttered and not very attractive IMO. And I don't care much for game trackers.

OK I found the streaming audio and listened off and on while watching the OSU game. When you live 30 miles from Columbus you are required to or you will be shot dead!
I did notice that they finally put the audio link on the front page calendar but it was very late coming.
Off to a good start ... Xavier 59, Arizona State 46. Xavier is now 2-0 .... against the PAC-10!
