Floyd's Ladies

Nice start for XU volleyball.

3-0 to start with wins over Youngstown State, Toldeo and Ohio State to take the Ohio State Sports Import Classic in Columbus.

Next to Georgia for Georgia State and Georgia Tech.
And the home opener 9/9 against Western Kentucky

Have not had the chance to follow volleyball the past 2 years because of health problems but glad to hear they are doing well to start the season. Any comments on players or strength of the team this year? Anyone!
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

great start for the girls, im down in atl now and will be here for the georgia state/tech matches, so expect a post on results afterwards

I hope you are still painting yourself blue...you are easier to recognized.

yesterday the girls beat ga state pretty handily, 3-0. they face ga tech today and will hopefully be 5-0 when returning home for their opener tuesday. will post results later

unfortunately the girls fell today 0-3 to ga tech. all the games were close. still a good learning experience for them.

This weekend only the reds won and they only won one game of their series. The ladies will be welcomed home from a road trip with only one loss....not bad.

Super start, I hope the usual crowd of student crazies shows up for the opener at Cintas. Floyd and his group deserve a loud welcome home!
