Aly Byorick is off to Lehigh. She probably wanted to be closer to home, then again it could have been playing time and other things. What is that about one a years for about forever.

Kevin didn't mention it at the Butler county steak fry and X has not updated their roster but the Lehigh roster lists her http://www.lehighsports.com/sports/wbba ... /index.asp

and the announcement from their coach

Seems like Lehigh keeps up with information to their fans.

Ihave to agree with you on at least one transfer a year since McGuff has been here. Glad to see someone else realizes it. I do not normally comment on it anymore due to a couple of people criticize you saying anything about the transfers. We only play 7 or 8 players no matter how good the bench is. There was no real place for a good shooting guard as our offense is to pass to Harris and Phillips. Which you saw in the tournament the past two years when they are shut down we are done as no one else used to shooting from outside.

Well, in all fairness, Balcomb wasn't any better when it came to transfers. It seemed like she had at least 2 transfers (or more) every year, so this isn't just a McGuff thing. I'm disappointed that Aly is leaving, but I don't see where she fits in. She probably wouldn't have seem any meaningful time until she was a senior, with Dee Dee and Moss coming in, in addition to Jerri.

And if this team wants to get to the NCAA's and advance, the offense is going to have to consist of more than just Harris and Phillips. I hope McGuff realizes this. On the other hand, the guards have to make shots when they get the opportunity.

I wasn't knocking coach, I know Balcom had the some transfers. Sometimes it seems like the ladies are more mobile than the guys.

Not surprised by Aly's departure. A player a year to transfer is not uncommon. We have plenty of talent and a deep roster. Good Luck to Aly at Lehigh

It seems easy to pick the player that will transfer each year.
