I can't be there in person but I'll be rooting from my spot here in the desert, surrounded by wildflowers, just outside the I-10 entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.

Re: George Washington - First Half Thread
I had a little TV problem at the beginning of the game but it squared away.
Never noticed the crowd. I was watching the game. So far, so good.

Between the lousy FT shooting and the turnovers, this is our worst game in a while. Byron just called it a "really terrible display" (of basketball). This would be a bad game to lose.

I hope that put-back by Stan was the icing on the cake.

He compliments Stan,Josh and Jason but said the effort of a few was pathetic.I think he was talking about Brown,CJ and maybe BJ.GW got way too many rebounds off their own missed free throws. If we rebound and make FT, we win comfortably.

They must have given you are early feed because the place was fill to the rafters. The sudents did a good job in the first half.xavard wrote:Watching the channelsurfing feed...Cintas looks empty.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: George Washington - First Half Thread
The last two games have not been representative of the #9 team in the country. We will have a hard time winning our first A10 tourney game let alone a NCAA tourney game. The amount of TO's (especially Brown & CJ) and sloppiness is disturbing. I know a win is a win, but we are in trouble if we keep this up. I've never seen a XU team miss as many free throws.
