west is the man. did you see how fired up he got after millsap blocked his shot? he was in millsaps face after he put the second one in. david west has heart.

i think west is the jim brown of basketball... he looks like he's about to die on every slow trot up the court, and then he'll dunk in your face and take your lunch money too.

I think the All star status will bring more. Last night they were effusive about him. Of course he looked good and has learned the pro game.

Remember when everyone kept saying Ben Wallace was underrated, and they kept saying it, and they kept saying it, and, finally, he became overrated because nobody would stop talking about how underrated he was? We're about three years away from having this happen to David West. Right now, he's still in the cute-and-cuddly "I can't believe how good he is, he's so underrated!" stage. I love the guy, personally. He's so underrated!

Biff, I hope that isn't the kiss of death for him. It seems like 50% of athletes once deemed "underrated," will one day be seen as "overrated" at some point in their careers.
I'm just really superstituous
