in Dante Jackson. He will be the defensive replacement for Burrell and with his size and ability the nightmares will continue for the Xavier foes.

His continued improvement has been obvious this year and with a summer at X and weight training the sky is the limit. I love his floor burn approach to the game.

No Fear, Dante Jackson's here! Warrior in Training! Defense, Nose on Ball! If You don't like that he'll get in your face! Don't like that he'll get in your shirt! Could have an impact in tournament. Does not lack confidence. Fits in with these players well. Learning from the best...

I agree. Dante comes in clean and leaves with floor burns every game. He did a great job on Brian Roberts today when Burrell was getting a blow. Dante fights through screens and stays with his man better than most freshman. He's a keeper.

Dante is very athletic and hustles. He has a bright future ahead of him.

with the 1-2 punch of Stan and Dante and with the help on screens they can shut out just about anyone.

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but Dante from day 1 has always seemed "into" the game. Even when he is on the bench, he is always up and yelling and cheering the team on... I love this kids intensity!!

What I liked best about Dante was the way he kept his cool when Huelsman--who should have been dqed for a flagrant foul) dropped a shoulderinto him and knocked him into the Dayton bench. He got up, didn't say a word and headed forn the floor to shoot free throws.
He and Hammer will make a great 1-2 punch the rest of this season...Hey, isn't he another player who "got away" from Dayton?

Generally I'm not the type to say I told you so but, I TOLD YOU SO! lol! DJ is playing his best basketball of the year and he has fit his role on this team to a T. Earlier in the year he wasn't getting much PT and now that he is, he has hit his groove. The best thing about it is that he has so much more to offer to this team (scoring), but right now it's not needed. I'm glad to see him contribute the way he has the last couple weeks and could he be in a better postion right now as far as learning from the guys in front of him? He has the oppritunity to ease in and learn from 2 of the best guards in the COUNTRY. How many freshman playing right now can say that. Good Job DJ...Keep working hard!

Dante Jackson could have made a considerable difference earlier this season against Tennessee. His ability to help relieve pressure has become a valuable asset.

Maybe we'll see a rematch in March or April.

Dante is going to be another great Xavier player.It seems he ends up on the floor in every game going after a loose ball and has at least 1 steal.Let's not forget he was a scoring machine in high school.The future looks good again!
