I want a THIRD Seed …. I don’t want no lousy SECOND.

OK, A second is “glitter.” But, a Third is where you want to be.

A THIRD Seed plays a 14th in the first game, and the winner of a
6-11 seed.

Then its off to the Sweet Sixteen, where a THIRD Seed catches at worst a Second seed.

Bottom line, I’d rather play a
second seed. for the ticket to the Final Four than a #1.

This comment makes no sense. The 2 and 3 seed are in the same part of the bracket.

Lets to for a one seed.

I would rather play a #7/10 seed, and a 10 seed would have a better chance at beating a 7 than an 11 upset of 6

During the OSU game they showed the teams fighting for the #1 seed and they didn't even mention Xavier. They showed teams with RPI's worse than X but just skipped over the X -Men. I think unless they win out we are a shoe in for a 2 or 3 seed. But right now I am not sure if this team is going to lose anytime soon. I thought they lose to Charlotte, St Louis, RI and UD and of course St Joes but I dont think they will. This team is on fire and they have to be looked at hard for a #1 seed.

That is the second mistake I have made this century.

If we lose to St Joe, then win out, can we be a two seed? Or how about we beat St Joe, but get trripped up in the finals, or Semis?

Quit living in the past, and look forward to the future. Besides, Maryland was a ridiculous 6 seed that year.

Some of you people need to stop worrying about the seed. Anyway you look at it, this team should be playing in the second weekend. And once you are one of the last 16 standing, it doesn't matter what seed you are, just win two more to make it to San Antonio.
