I thought we were somewhat sloppy, but were helped by a favorable whistle and the fact that Dayton is the worst offensive team in the country.
I'll take it.

Let's see if I understand this.
By having their season end FIRST, that means that Dayton has passed us as a basketball program.
Gosh, that was easy to understand.

Good enough win at a tough venue; net-net, it was the fans and players play-in game up there today and X showed enough composure to prevail.
Now U(rine) D(ump) looks ahead to the real play-in game.....

Don't be surprised if we see UD again in the A-10 tourney, which promises to be a dogfight, if the last half-dozen games are any indication.
Solid win for X at a hostile arena with Drew still well below 100%.

How about their "stiff" ... the guy who was going to turn the program around ... pile-driving into Stanley? Replay the tape and you'll see he turns his shoulder into him....after Stanley is down

Looking at the stats, one sticks out like no other.....Offensive rebounds UD-15, X-8. Thats SEVEN extra posesssions/14+possible extra points, and yet X still wins by 6. If we would have rebounded better it could have been a 12-16 pt win. Enough of being the devils advocate. Udump is an incredibly difficult place to play and I'm ecstatic that we have destroyed ANY shot that they had at an at-large and our guys came away with a great win. I still think we beat them again if we were to play in the conf tour., I just don't like playing and beating a team three times.
