This Memphis v Tennessee game atmosphere is huge!

ESPN is on location and they've got the place pretty well packed 10 hours before game time!

It would be like XU #1 v UC #2

It gives me chills...I'll be watching.

I want Tenn to win this game. Not just because it makes X look even better, which it will. I'm not a big fan of undefeated reg seasons. I know a lot of posters here don't like Pearl, but I like the way they play, pressing and using a lot of guys.

I'd like a Tenn win. I think that the X vs Tenn was one of the most exciting games this year and sure we fell a little short but the guys learned how to play big time basketball and it has helped/

Pearl redeemed himself in my book. Yes he has a good team, but so do we and he brought them to play. Unlike UK who won't play us anywhere. I will be rooting for Tenn. Can't hurt our RPI either.

8 seconds away from a UT win. Still no mention nationally about a 1 seed for X. It is still too early. Our best hope is for a strong 2 or the strongest 3 if we win out.

interesting...foul with 4.5 to go, up by three, that way they shoot the free throws...Bruce Pearl sticks to his guns on that idea. Last year after OSU v XU he was OUTSPOKEN on that strategy.

Pizza D, every coach is going to have their philosophy on whether or not to foul in that situation. My feeling is that when a game comes that somebody fouls in that situation, we see a missed FT and subsequent 3 to possibly win the game, we could see the pendulum swing the other way.

Memphis is a baaaaaad FT shooting team, so it would make sense to foul in that situation.
