what is Xavier's highest ranking ever??
I thought they were #7 when posey lumpkin and brown were there but I could be wrong.

Media Guide says were were 7th in the AP Poll on 12-7-97 and 9th in the Coachs' Poll 11-30-97 and 12-7-97.

They started the season ranked 10, climbed to 7, but then had a loss at Miami courtesy of Wally Z and company and then it was down hill from there.
The season ended with a loss to Washington in the 1st round of the NCAA after winning the A-10.
