dow blog:
At 5:55, Xavier is on the court warming up, and Lavender is with the rest of the team, stretching, running, shooting, etc. Might still be too soon to know for sure, but he is optimistic.
Watching him do defensive slide drills, I can't tell much of a difference. He's also removed the wrap on the left thumb.

**XU's athletic training staff feels comfortable with Lavender's ability to play tonight and not put himself in further danger...as of now at 6:08 p.m....So, it looks like the ultimate determinant will be Lavender himself. And if that's the case, it would take the unforeseen cancellation of the game to Lavender off the court. Tape, brace and go.

I am sitting here a few rows up behind the RI bench. I saw Lavendar warm up and he showed no ill effects. Double checked with Dow's blog to confirm.

We look ready.

Nice, MIXMAN...Do you live in RI? Yea, I figured X would be up for this contest! I dont see them giving them in to the crowd. How is the atmosphere at that Center? Is it sold-out, raucous??Please keep us posted..

Crowd is great. Looks to be a sellout.

RI students earlier and louder pregame than you typically see at X. They are all in pink
