In Support of Mr. Neutral

I personally think some of you guys are being a little to rough on Mr. Neutral. I for one think that his posts are valid and well-founded. Some of you might feel that he is too negative. The truth is that we need a some second-guessing and objectivity on this board. I would be thrilled, excited and SURPRISED if this team wins the national championship. Too many of you think winning the tourney is a done deal.
I thank Mr. N for bringing a little balance to a too optimistic fan base.
I think Mr. N would appreciate it if some of you guys would agree with me.

What?
This board is optimistic?
And since when does fan = objective?

As an unbiased observer, I agree totally with Alabama.

Why would there be an unbiased observer on a chat board dedicated to ONE NCAA division I basketball team? Why? Especially when that board has "madness" in the title? Fine, fanaticism is is bad in the middle east or in our government... but it is all there should be here.
I guarantee you there are kids down in Kentucky... even drunk adults, who think that UK will win the NCAA championship this year. And look at Dayton. There's not an objective perspective in that town, even after 6 losses in the A10. Fine, we can take a timeout here or there an gain some perspective and talk seriously, but where's the spirit? You gotta believe. That's what sports are all about. Oh how we have corrupted the game... I blame ESPN.

I agree about blaming ESPN and will add the yadda yadda talk radio shows, and Mr Neutral (?).

IMO the board comes down to expressing your opinion on how our beloved muskies are playing, or news about them, etc. If someone isn't the most positive person and has a different view than you, there should never be bashing anyways, immature in my eyes. If Mr.N wants to be the one that puts everything into perspective on what we've accomplished and what we can accomplish, doesn't mean we should "hate".
Same sense, if its a clear UD or UC or other opposing fan giving us hell for hells sake, that I see as being acceptable to point out their programs many flaws and making them regret posting on a true muskie blue site.

I "hate" nobody!
But, Mr. Neutral (?) is not one who puts things into "prospective." And he gets downright "personal" and does "name calling" whenever anyone takes him to task for being so negative. It's nothing new with him.

If you want to be like Gary, you should have been negative about his posts...he would have supported you after he criticized you. Let's not Pollyanna about Gary, Alabama.
