Miller? What success have the previous coaches had, leaving X for greener pa$ture$? Staak? Gillen? Skip? had Wake at #1 briefly. Matta? was 1 whistle away from nothing. Sean is smart. He has what he wants in place. Now let's win at Rhodey.

While I agree that there are very few jobs that are better than ours, Indiana is one of them. I couldn't blame him for leaving if he is offered the job.
But we still have a season to finish and we have a realistic shot of making a deep tourney run.....Lets stay focused people.
I will be at rhody cheering on the boyz...

0r Sean could stay at Xavier where he is wanted and build a dynasty of his own making rather than move on to any high pressure job that, as history has shown, has a tendency to be unsatisfied with coaches that cannot produce.

I suppose the 'success' can be measured in the increase in salary, not necessarily wins. I'm not sure I can blame a coach for taking the job that pays more. If it means security for your family, you'd do it also.
We're very fortunate that we have been able to continually bring in great coaches to replace the ones leaving. I guess as nothing more than a springboard to a higher paying job, our head coaching position is attractive. Throw in the great arena, loyal fan base, clean program, and winning history, and we'll always have a list of qualified candidates.
But I sure hope Sean stays, for a long time.

Or replace the Legend of Bobby Knight. Let's face it at IU Knight will always cast a huge shadow over any future coach as long as he's alive.
