I thought that Vic Fleming had played a few games after being drafted in the 2nd round, but maybe not. Neither Sato nor Myles played in any regular-season games. NBA.com confirms this as well.

I was not aware that Luther Rackley's nickname was "Luke." I also assume that this database includes information up-dated only through 2006 (since David West, among others, are still in the NBA now).

You seem to be correct, nick, about the "by college" list only going through '06. As I mentioned, I double-checked Sato and Myles with nba.com just to be sure.

Where is Bob Pelkington on the list? He played in the NBA, did he not?

NBA.com doesn't list Bob Pelkington, either, and its list goes back far enough to show a John "Jake" Pelkington who played in the '48-49 season.

I did see that Pelkington was drafted in the 8th Round of the 1964 draft. I always thought or assumed that he played in the NBA.

I don't believe that Bird played in the NBA.
However, he did sign a free agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys and I believe he played with the Brooklyn Dodgers of the Continental FOOTBALL league.

West, Posey and Aaron Williams are still playing in NBA games. West of course with New Orleans, Posey with the Celtics and Williams with the LA Clippers. Luther Rackley was never called Luke to my knowledge and Bob Pelkington may have been drafted but I don't believe he ever played in the NBA.

A-Train's on his last (NBA) legs. He's played in 23 games this year for the Clippers, averaging 9 minutes a game, but has had trouble with his left (shooting) wrist for the last few months, which has limited his PT.

Why would an injury to A Train's shooting wrist affect his NBA career ?
