That's a great view of the game and if you can get through the bad call redundancy its great to see Josh hit that shot.

Re: Charlotte Fan POV
I was at the game too, but all the way behind the other basket. I couldn't really see the play. The call is what it is, but the refs were calling everything yesterday. If they are going to say that they lost the game because of this, then the didn't pay attention to the bad calls against us. This was a horribly officiated game on both sides. They weren't complaining when Lavender got called for a charge when he barely bumped a guy at the three point line. They would not have been in the game had Goldwire missed some of these three's he randomly threw up and shouldn't have been made. I'm not going to argue that the refs were awful but it went both ways all game.

Man doesn't know what a charge is.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Charlotte Fan POV
That is going to be called a charge 75% of the time. The other 25% it would be called wrong! Maybe the rule states that both feet must be planted, but that is certainly not how it is called on the court!
I'm glad he posted the video. I thought that maybe we got a call that we shouldn't have on that play.

Re: Charlotte Fan POV
your feet do NOT need to be firmly planted, hence, slide your feet to play defense. just getting to the spot first gets the charge.

Re: Charlotte Fan POV
Apparently, Stanley has had flu-like symptoms and missed a couple of practices. At the end, he was giving more space than usual on D because he had 4 fouls. Even the 49er fans said the third one, in particular, was not a foul. That one had him side-lined a good part of the first half. I'm sure he'll be rested and ready to go against RI.

Re: Charlotte Fan POV
You have to take this griping by BBAll fans in Charlotte NC for what it is: Sour Grapes. They think that any team from down there has a birthright to win any and all games played within the borders of NC no matter what! I have been watching the ACC since the late 1960's and I can tell you that all those Carolina Teams with the exception of Wake Forest and South Carolina, at the time have had some many regular season, conference tournament and NCAA games gift wrapped for them with horrendous officiating, always in their favor. In addition they always seem to be able to get to play the NCAA first and second round games not less than 20 miles from their campus. Who's kidding who here????
