Dustin Dow reports that Jim Satalin, who has a long resume of experience in both college and pro basketball and is the Atlantic 10 Conference Coordinator for Officials, was at courtside along with Linda Blutarsky. They were probably there because Blutarsky's superb TV contract didn't allow this game to be shown on any broadcast outlet.
Good. What they saw last night was an abomination. I don't expect anything to change until Bluto leaves, but I'll bet there is some discussion about this disgrace today.

One has to wonder where they acquire the nerve to show their faces after foisting those teams of officials on members of the A-10!

Ridiculous fouls on both sides. I was glad when Miller took the 't'. It did help X gets some calls going their way. It was interesting to listen to the Charlotte announcers on the webcast. They thought they were getting screwed the whole game. I think it went both ways.

There was one particular call in the first half that seemed awful. It was a foul on Brown, I think. According to Joe, the referee just stared him down, as if to dare him to say anything and then T him up. If that is what really happened, that official should be reprimanded. They have no busines trying to show up a team or player. I can understand missing calls, but to deliberately try to cause an issue after having a few seconds to think about it is wrong.

I'm not in any way calling homer refs (hate to sound like a dayton fan) but having to follow the game via internet it seemed there was a foul called every possession.
It was painful.
