I could only start listening to the game when it was tied at 58.
Duncan takes a charge and then hits the three. This guy is really stepping up and becoming the player we always wanted him to be.
Josh, way to become a man your senior year!

Sean was heaping praise all over Josh.Said he should be the first X player to be named A10 player of the week and could be player of the year.He has really started to turn it on and I've been very critical of him.Never too late.He could be the plyer that puts us into the elite teams the rest of this year.

Forget the skinny guy and the Harpy, forget the redneck and the old man....Josh for president ....I guess I am going too far but that was a great performance. and Ice water in his veins from 27 feet.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

How quickly we forget.
Today's hero was yesterday's whipping boy. And so it goes. MAYBE yes just maybe, the best is yet to come.

i hope duncan keeps this up...when i first saw him playing at x, i thought, "man, this kid has all the talent in the world."
he looks like a bodybuilder, has great touch, and he's what, 6'9? He should have been dominating the A10 since he got here...but I'll take a dominant senior year and a run thru the tourney over nothing
and I still think he's an NBA talent, at least coming off of someone's bench. If he can be consistent, confident and aggressive.

Q, I can take a bullet here. I've never been real high on Josh. Frustrated many times as he starts his role in a game and has a foulf almost immediately, or an ill advised pass or clunking threes while he's moving (he's deadly when he's set with no one right on top of him).wkrq59 wrote:How quickly we forget.

Yet I've come to admire his senior (and mature) leadership this year. He could have basically given up as he was benched from a starting role, but he has flourished. And the way he's basically led the closing out of opponents in the past couple of weeks in close games. I've enjoyed watching him grow and I hope I do as well as I watch other youngsters on the team mature.
It's time for a bourbon on the rocks!

I do hereby publicly pick my teeth with crow feathers and praise Josh for an incredible game. What a line...7-7, 5-5 on 3s, 6-8 from the line, 8 rebounds, a steal and a block...
I was an early doubter and critic. He's earned the praise, so why stint? Nice work, Josh!
