WOW!
Just saw this on Yahoo! front page. Multiple violations of his previous recruiting sanctions. one violation involved calls with Kenny Frease. Looks like a big time penalty after this season.

Indiana sold their soul for a basketball coach.......Glad to hear Kenny picked the right school and it makes me understand why Drew might have had some issues with Sampson. I am very glad X beat the crap out of this IU team

Miller is one of the names consistently being mentioned over on their board. Not going to happen, but at least we are not the only ones who know how good of a coach he is. Also, one person even mentioned making a run at Matta since his dream class (Oden, Conley) are gone. Probably not likely, but a possibility...especially with that turd.

IU would be a VERY tough job to turn down. I think it's a way better job that OSU, especially when you consider where OSU was when Beaknose took over.

Of the handfull of top jobs Miller would have to consider, this is one of them.

Miller would have to be on the list. XU is a known commodity when it comes to coaches, and Miller has shown he can build a great team from the individual pieces.

Lets hope for 1 of 3 outcomes:

1) Sampson is "acquitted", and doesn't lose his job----doubtful.

2) IU is REALLY guilty and gets some serious sanctions (didn't stop Beaknose from going to OSU).

3) Sampson is guilty as hell, it's really obvious and the school cans his ass or he resigns during a free-fall of the team so they hire an interim coach or promote an assistant that takes them on a run and gets himself the full time gig---although the "Mike Davis years" might make that unlikely.

Not good news in my view.

IU's got to be pretty pissed that (1) he came in under a cloud, (2) the school took a little flak for hiring a guy with NCAA problems, which had never been the case under Knight, and (3) now the knucklehead goes and does it again.

Sampson better have a damn good explanation ready. If not, then he better have his resume handy.

Bobby Knight resigns from Texas Tech....a week later the NCAA drops the hammer on Sampson.....Coincidence....I think Not.

Bobby Knight will be renamed the Head Coach of Indiana University.

sounds good to me. knight wouldn't sit in the same chair sampson ab-used...sampson should coach @ vanier college, home of the cheetahs..
