I have never seen a Kentucky team take such a beating. It may just end any chance they had for an NCAA at-large berth.

I live in NKY, and I have had to deal with UK fans my entire life, always playing second fiddle at the bars when UK and XU are on at the same time, always hearing how X is inferior, blah blah blah...

LAST NIGHT WAS BETTER THAN PORN!!!

There was one lady in tears, it made my night, they were leaving Barleycorn's in the first half...which never happens...and I was grinning and laughing like the Joker.

Sadistic? Yes, but if you are not from NKY then you cannot understand this post.

And even worse for UK fans, Ashley Judd was in the stands to watch that mess (per Gary Parrish on CBS Sportsline).

I can't say I'm a big UK fan, but I'm rooting for Billy Gillespie to succeed, if for no other reason than I think UK fans are so hard to please.

The Cats are my second favorite team (first for football) and it's been difficult to follow them for the past several years. Tubby was either unable to recruit and/or ignored obvious opportunites, such as Lofton. And when Tubby left he didn't leave much talent. He knew when to leave. Other than their name I believe they will struugle to get a NIT bid.

Anyway, I would love to have them on Xavier's schedule on a regular basis. This season we would wipe them up. Other seasons it would be a great profile game and with where X is now and where Ky will return, very competitive.
It's time for a bourbon on the rocks!

I wish I could have been there for the only reason to let Ashley cry on my shoulder.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

musketeerndh! you said it right! sec paybacks are hell from when florida, tennesee, vandy, et al didn't have a "basketball program", was a football conference and ky was drilling everybody's eyes out.. ky couldn't blow out an opponent by enough points! 5 game winning streak (the players were buying into the system) before and after, blame it on poor Tubby. ky replaced Tubby with this character? Master of Rebuild? he's no MOR. ENJOY!

I feel the exact same way as you and have been dealing with UK fans at that exact Barleycorns for years. I get a sick joy from seeing them suck so bad.
