Great win for the guys in blue and white today. However, is it just me or does the commercial for Xavier University need to be changed? Seems like the "techno" commercial is a bit outdated and doesn't represent the true history and of our fine institution. If anything, it makes Xavier look and sound like a technical college. Bleed blue!

Please don't get me started on that commercial. Cheese trance music with the copy touting the "21st century learning environment." We're in the 9th year of the 21st century now. So, basically, we're saying we are completely with the times. That's something to be proud of???

I Tivo the games, in large part, so that I don't have to listen to that commercial, and I cherish the ESPN games because I don't have to watch or listen to it (even my wife commented on Thursday about the absence of the commercial). The commercial is HORRIBLE. Atrocious. I know there are some XU grads around the country working at some very prestigious ad agencies. Can't someone PLEASE lend a hand? It is excruciating...

Also come in handy with Billy Mays commercials.

Don't know how much Xavier paid whatever ad agency but it was too much if they did use "outside" people. Looks like a high-school project and not a very good one.
