Can anyone confirm or deny that they will or will NOT be serving beer at the XU vs St Joe's game on Sunday at Cintas Center? I understand Sunday liquor sales laws but can't quite understand if that applies to the sale of beer, especially since you can purchase beer at Bengals games before 1pm, actually you can purchase it at 1130 when the gates open at PBS.

Please clarify if you can.

Why would they sell it ? Have you ever seen a Catholic festival on a Sunday not serve beer ?

Now now don't get your panties in a bunch. You ask for something and when you get a few smart remarks back you get all out of sorts.

You could have called the basketball office and they would have told you there will be beer sales but they will not start till 11:00 so when the doors open you will have to wait till 11:00.

I hope that puts you back in a better mood.

Thank you very much. I did call the Cintas Office of ops and the female who answered could not give me an answer, so I asked on here, you have been very helpful.

My reply was not a reflection upon your question. It is simply a comment on the church bingo games. The Catholic Church does not have many rules on what you should do but has plenty of don'ts.

Sunday beer and bingo do not count as don'ts so it has to do with local government. Perhaps another look at the separation of Church and State is warranted.

I think that signs were posted stating that beer would not be sold until 1:00 pm.

Like I said, If you call the basketball office they say 11:00. Other than that I guess we wait and see. I might point out to them when you get there that it is 1:00 somewhere.

Out here on the Left Coast I'll be drinking coffee. It will only be 9 AM and waaaay too early for beer.
