I was thinking the same thing. A URI, UMass or SJU could easily have fit into these pairings.

Why? Bracket buster has mid-major written all over it. I think it was probably thought up by some Big 6 guy. Have some of the mids beat each other out of some bids, but sell it as a big opportunity. We don't need or want to be associate d with the mid major tag, and we don't need the exposure, we're on tv all the time, mostly on channels available nationwide. Bracket buster---no thanks. As for the MVC, they had a few years of good fortune, but at the end of the day they are a bunch of cow colleges in middle of no where towns.

guys, this is the imposter. I don't think a team that is currently a 3-5 seed has any need for such an event. wannabe just stirring the pot.

stop, I don't know if "PM" was necessarily talking about X, but possibly some of the other A-10 NCAA possibles.

Want to know how often the A-10 is on here in Chicago? Not very. And if it's good enough for Butler and Drake, it's sure as hell good enough for URI, SJU, UMass and maybe even Temple.

I think it would be good for schools like UC, Fordham, Rutgers, Providence, LaSalle, St. Johns, S. Fla., St. Bonny...schools that have no postseason aspirations this year.

why no A-10 teams in the bracket buster???
Would have loved for my Muskies to take on Drake or another Missouri Valley school. The A-10 and MVC should pair up....

Call me crazy, but I think that kind of defeats the whole Bracket Buster concept.

Thanks muskieman, I almost said that this had to be a troll, but then looked at the name and decided to bite my tounge and just point out a weakness in his argument.
