Sportscenter projects Xavier as Final 4

Saturday morning's ESPN Sportscenter had a discussion of non-top 10 teams to make the Final Four. The one black commentator chose Xavier with props to Lavender, Brown, Duncan, and others as a deep balanced team which could make the Final Four. They had some clips of XU from this season. Great props to our Musketeers! I hope a few potential recruits were up early enough to see!!

I think any top 20 team has the potential to make the Final Four. The Muskies have solid free throw shooting, consistent rebounding and some great 3 point shooters. Six guys averaging double figures also helps. When everything is working right, they are as good as any team in the country.

no offense, but the idea of x getting to the final four is hilarious to me. just shows how stupid some of these national media pundits are.
there was one who picked ud to beat x at x a few weeks back. guy probably didn't bother to research all of ud's injuries and the fact it'd been 27 yrs since they last won there.
i would be very surprised if x could get by a memphis, kansas, unc, ucla, etc. that would probably be a beatdown.

X would've been in the Final 4 last year if Oden would have been called for an intentional foul or X had fouled Lewis before taking the 3. I think X can beat anybody...it will be interesting if UD can even make the tourney. BTW Baloney Roberts will only get 18 against Burrell at the dump if he gets the homecooking from the refs.

No excuse at all, X will pound UD even at the dump...X's coaching and talent level is 10x better than I've seen of UD. The only way Roberts gets 18 on Burrell is if Stan is in foul trouble. BTW you saw the foul on Oden you make the call...X had the OSU game but gave it away...at least X was able to be in a game like that something UD won't be in anytime soon or maybe never. We all remember that classic UD-DePaul first round game. Poor Roberts probably regrets every minute that Burrell committed to X before he could.

man, you're right, that would be crazy if we knocked off a top team in the tourney... like when we would have been in the final four if we wouldn't have been screwed at the end against duke (and would have knocked off the top 4 teams in our region) OR last year when we were one intentional foul call away from beating the team who made the NC. crazy...so crazy.
