Xavier Not a Major Program

Or so the The Saginaw News thinks. In speaking of Brad Redford they say:
Thanks guys! In speaking of his accomplishments they note:The Frankenmuth point guard is not going to a major program, although Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, has a better team than many ''majors'' from big conferences.

Still, Redford averages 37 points a game and has led the Eagles to an improbable 14-0 record and a No. 4 ranking in the Associated Press Class B rankings.
''I think about Mr. Basketball a little more now ... it's always in the back of your head,'' Redford said. ''But it's not something you can control, so you only think about it when someone brings it up.''
Redford already owns the state record for consecutive free throws at 75 ... and counting. The number is fourth in national high school history. He needs one more to tie for third and 11 to tie for second. We don't even have to consider Daryl Moreau's record of 126 consecutive free throws -- Redford may not even get to shoot 126.
