D. West made the NBA All-Star team as a reserve.

Congrats to David. NO is getting a lot of ink around the league as an up-and-coming team with a great trio of young players (West, Paul, Chandler).

Way to go David and Chris! Skip would be proud.

Really happy for D-West. I think he is only the second Muskie to make an NBA All Star roster. The other being Tyrone Hill. Can anyone think of any other Muskie to make an NBA All Star roster?

I don't think Posey has been an all star. Just T Hill.

Posey was in the rookie challenge, I think, but not an actual All Star Game...

This is awesome. I didn't think the coaches had the balls not to select another Center. So glad they resisted the temptation to get caught up with positions.

David is having a great year, but the game being in NO certainly helped a bit.

That's great, although the all-star game is usually a bunch of dunks, and his mid-range game will be even more overlooked.
