We are a 4 seed...

So does the RPI not matter anymore. Looking at the top 6 seeds only XU and Drake are placed below where they would naturally fall if you followed the RPI exactly. I understand that the RPI is not perfect but it seems they only care if you are BCS and have a high RPI. My biggest problem with this is that Notre Dame getting a 5 seed (two spots below us) with an RPI of 41!

Jerry Palm has X as a #5 seed playing Arkansas, with a possible 2nd round game against Butler, and a possible (though unlikely) 3rd round game against OSU.
