Still late January, but the latest has XU at a 3 seed.

Have us playing UNC Asheville. Very interesting team. Anyone think Jason Love(or anyone on our team) could take their 7-7 freak-O-nature, Kenny George?

Yikes! A 3 seed! That's rarified air for us. Sweet.

Wasn't X a 3 seed against UNC-Wilmington in 2003? My first choice for where Xavier gets to play I think is Wash. DC.

Jason Love has a wing span of a player over 7" tall so he probably will do okay,

If Tyler Hansbrough can dunk on him than D. Brown should be able to posterize him no problem!

Seeing is believing, they usually seem to place X lower than we think they deserve..

No Xavier played Troy State in the first round in 2003 and then lost to Maryland in the second. UNC Wilmington played Maryland in the first round and barely lost to them at the last second.

Link please? Cant seem to find it.
I got wrapped up in the seeding thing in December, learned my lesson. Yes, I'm hopeful and curious. Let's just take care of business the last 10 games. 8-2 will keep us in the hunt for a 3-4 seed, but we have to take care of business first. There are easily 6 potential losses there, St. Joe 2x, at Charlotte, at RI, at Dayton, at St.Louis 9 (cf. tacitus thread). None of the other 4 games are laydowns. I don't think we will lose more than 3, but one game at a time.
