Dante had a nice game for the 76ers. He played 31 minutes with 4 rebounds and 21 points. His team won too. I always thought he should have played more at Xavier

Agree Kevin. Dante should have been out PG with McKnight coming off the bench, but Miller love McKnight.

Enquirer article on Dante reaction to his Xavier career. Here is a couple of his quotes "It wasn't ideal. It wasn't what I thought the plan would be originally," Maddox said.
"Even at Xavier, I think there were times where I was able to do some good things off the bench. But I was just doing that off the bench with not that many minutes,"
Well not the NBA but earning money here.

I wanted Dante to get more minutes, but he wasn't a PG. That would have been a disaster. I don't think anyone expected Foster to be the lights out shooter that he was, and I think the plan was to have a 3 guard lineup more than they did.
Lacking a rim protector also made it an improbable option as well. Happy to see him get a chance in the NBA.

Maddox played some PG during the summer league and could have easily split time with Conwell with McKnight on the bench. McKnight was not good senior year. Hopefully, Kalek can be a strong backup PG this year.
