Musketeer Madness

It is pretty obvious that most of the board believe that Xavier is getting screwed by the refs in a lot of the games. There is a lot of truth in that thought just by comparing the number of fouls called on both teams. However if you have a roster that is built to shoot threes and your front court guys are more finesse players ( Filip, Robinson, Milicevic, Carroll) than maulers this is what you get. When you can't hold your ground or create space thru your legs you end up fouling to hold your position. Carroll and Anderson are the only two players who get get to the rim and draw fouls. I think bringing in Tu Holloway in the summer and teach the team how to draw fouls while driving to the basket. He was the best guy Xavier ever had at drawing fouls. I don't know what he does for a living or if he would be interested but he had the art of drawing fouls down. Not a big guy and not particularly fast but great at drawing fouls
