Very happy that Dante is coming back to coach. I loved his passion as both a player and assistant. Somehow it seemed to me that Miller kind of eased him out during games. That could be incorrect but that's what it looked like to me. I noticed the players talking to Dante during timeouts more than the other assistants. He also is a good recruiter . I know he got Claude to come. Maybe he will be the next Head coach after Pitino. I looked up the New Mexico assistants Pitino is bringing in and they all seem like good coaches. Hope we have enough N.I.L. money to field a good team. Go X

I believe we are competitive in NIL based on what I know from the Athletic staff (the ones who are staying) and my belief that Pitino would not have come to X if did not believe we could compete. Also, there are over 1,300 players in the portal this year and i am sure that the coaches that Pitino is bringing are on top of it. I am curious as to whether we retained the transfer recruiting staff member from Miller's staff or Pitino is bringing his own or what?

What about Mario? I remember he turned down Miller when he left for Arizona. Anyone heard?
