Four schools in four years, college basketball is a mess. What about Traore and Anderson.

Conwell is asking for 1.5 to 2 million a year. He's a good player but crazy what a player can get in college.

It's a feeding frenzy, and everyone's mkt value is inflated. X has to start from zero, losing 3 key pieces in Swain, Conwell, and Lewis. Good for them. They should get as much as thy can, because you don't know what the future holds.

IU is in the same situation, just like Louisville, UK, and Arkansas was last year. Ironically, X has experienced the most success by far of all of those teams mentioned over the last three years.

I was listening to a podcast yesterday where Fanta was discussing the college landscape in general, and mentioned the BE and the Nova opening. He said most teams were in the $4.5 to $5.5 M range in NIL. I think the teams below that are DePaul, Butler, Providence, and Seton Hall.

In the article I posted a couple of days ago, I found Christopher's comments interesting and encouraging. He said that X is very much in line with most of the P4 schools. Obviously, they won't be able to compete with Kentucky, Kansas, N Carolina and the like, unless the revenue sharing agreement passes next month, but can compete with most others. Very few schools with the a small enrollment (as superior academic schools tend to have) and relatively small endowment can boast the same thing.

BTW, my prediction is that Swain ends up at OSU, and Conwell, IU.

Lastly, I have a feeling a donor will step up and offer a one time kicker to boost the NIL for next year, considering the rebuild Pitino is going to have to do. Just a hunch; no inside info.
