Yep sad for Zack and his teammates.I've heard foot injury again and knee so who knows.I do recall him having a pretty hard fall on his back at one point

Tough break for Zach considering how hard he has worked to come back and how well he has played. Unfortunately for Xavier he is the one player we can't afford to lose based on this flawed roster and the lass of Traore.

Horrible news if Freemantle is hurt. He was playing very well and was by far our best player. Damn he worked so hard to get back and play like he has been. Young man can't catch a break. The team has lost their two best bigs for the second year in a row. Devastating news for the team and Freemantle. The lesson to learn is Recruit more Big guys and healthy big guys.

Looking at the game when Zach fell, then got up and played, I don’t see indication of ACL or knee injury. He fell on his lower back. He could very possibly have a partially dislocated tailbone or a stress fracture of the tailbone, or another low back strain. The severity of the injury will determine how long he’s out. Just my best guess.

Hard to believe that the training staff would have let a potential ACL tear remain in the game

Freemantle is a very good basketball player....for Xavier....when he is on the court and playing at full strength. Xavier has lost his playing services for about 3 years straight now. Building team coaching schemes around him is good but. When Freemantle gets injured and is out for most of the season, it causes almost a total rebuild of team actions and team chemistry. If Freemantle cannot play the rest of this year, I hope this is the end and he moves on to whatever he wishes to do next. Do not what to see another year of a part time player for X. I assume this is Freemantle's last year for X.

Agreed. Put all our hopes in three injury prone bigs including one that was far and out of shape not a good strategy.
