First game Butler Wed. 4PM

How is Xavier -1 vs Butler. Once again Vegas has not watched us the last ten games. Big East tourney has never been kind to my Muskies.

We did not play well at all at Butler and played much better against Marquette. I attended both games. (Sorry MM i went to that dirty old barn you don't like.) Considering also that we beat them at our place -1 to X is not unreasonable, nor would -1 Butler be unreasonable. Oddsmakers generally know what they are doing, so it seems this is a toss up to them. If X avoids a horrible start like the one at Butler, i like our chances.

0fer on 3 in the first half and illegal screens. X has to find some outside shooting because outside of Des' pull up, the basket is closed.

Thank God for Claude. Ousmane is sooooo frustrating to watch. Is it my imagination or does someone always shoot lights out against us? Once again how many points do our big guys have? Anyways this game is about what was expected.

MM I did not think about that but your are absolutely correct. Those rebound stats are so misleading. They missed a lot of shots but then again we are not shooting that great either.

I'm glad Sean put the good shooting team out in the second half. The good win now shocks the basketball world and makes UConn only 2 out of 3 against X this year.
